America At War
The events of September 11, 2001 reminded us that freedom does not come without cost. Ironically, the price tag for freedom often includes war. The Civil War was fought to secure freedom for slaves. America's involvement in World War II freed the world from the tyranny of Hitler and the imperialism of Japan.
